Strobl, who is 21, attends the University of Michigan where he majors in International Studies and Political Science, with a minor in German. He is expected to graduate with the class of 2018.  He was also recently named to Red Alert Politics prestigious “30 Under 30” list http://redalertpolitics.com/thirty-under-thirty-2016/grant-strobl/ .  Red Alert Politics reaches a monthly audience of a half million millennials.  In 2016, Strobl was also named Chairman of Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) by the Young America’s Foundation (Reston, VA).

“If I gave up when high school administrators tried to stop me from hosting conservative speakers, or when college professors and administrators tried to silence conservative beliefs, I would not be where I am today,” said Strobl.   “This recognition is a great honor and I am humbled to be on a list with such great young conservative leaders.”

Strobl also was elected to Michigan’s 14th Congressional District Republican Executive Committee and is the youngest person in Michigan to serve in such a capacity. He recently completed a summer project working with Sean Hannity on Fox News Channel in New York and is currently an intern with the Heritage Foundation Center for Legal and Judicial Studies in Washington, D.C.

“Grant is a natural leader,” said Janine Kateff, 14th District Chairwoman.  “He is an outstanding example of how conservative young leaders can shape life on campus by planting seeds for our future and by preserving conservative values.  Our entire Executive Committee is proud of Grant.”
