Congressional District Chairs United To Elect Trump
Statewide Effort to Deliver Michigan for Trump in November
West Bloomfield, MI [Immediate Release]: Today in an unprecedented show of unity, Republican leaders from across the state released an open letter communicating their support of Donald J. Trump to be the next president of the United States.
Among the signers are Republican Congressional District Chairs elected in Districts from across Michigan, both of Michigan’s elected RNC National Committee members, and the MIGOP Chairwoman and Co-Chair. CLICK HERE to view a copy of the open letter.
“Republican leaders from across Michigan are 100% behind Donald Trump” said 14th Congressional District Chairwoman Janine Kateff (West Bloomfield), who was a leader in producing the unity letter. “We are committed to deliver Michigan for Trump in November. Michigan has not voted for a Republican president since 1988 and this is the year that trend ends. Trump’s America first message resonates with Michiganders.”
This open letter was released just days before the MIGOP’s State Convention to be held in Grand Rapids on August 26-27. Delegates attending that Convention will be voting for a number of candidates who will appear on the November ballot, including university leaders and the Michigan State Board of Education.
“As an elected Trump Delegate to the RNC Convention in Cleveland, I saw firsthand the powerful and positive message that Trump can deliver. More voters than ever are dissatisfied with the direction of the country. Trump will correct that and will make American great again” said Kateff.
